While I was pushing it a touch weather wise, I managed to get out for a nice smoke of some Lasqueti prerolls. They ended up surprising me with how they turned out for how old they were (packaged in July of last year). The Pop 'n Bottles prerolls had a Boost pack rather stuffed in the tube and I fully credit it to them staying in smokable condition. There was still some really nice aromas coming from the tube on opening. I do hope on future batches they can get the skinny boost packs since I had to use tweezers to get this one out. On smoking, the first joint was kind of bland but not awful. The second and third tasted better except for a kind of bitter end taste. I got some soapy and gassy notes from one and then a strong gassy forest floor taste from the other. They did burn a bit hot but not dry which was interesting. The high was a bit more energetic leaning than I prefer in my evening. I did get a nice body chill vibe from it but not a relaxing one as such. Sadly this strain wasn't on their website or socials so it might have been a small batch release. Their flower can be pretty irregularly released so it can be hard to find in some areas of BC. I did enjoy my time with them in the end, even with it being a bit all over the place.
